Justin and I have truly been blessed so much! We were blessed with quadruplets but 2 have became our guardian angels! We know our baby boys, Addison and Levi are watching down, helping God take care of us and Wesley and Cooper. This is the start of our journey so I have decided to make this blog for updates of all of the emotions and excitement that will happen along the way! Please keep us in your thoughts and prayers! Thanks to everyone for all of the congrats.! We are so excited and are thankful to have great family, friends and community that are wanting to help us! No one will ever understand how much it means to us! If it's your first time visiting our blog, start at the bottom and work your way up, or on the right hand side you can look by date.

New York?? Nate Berkus show??? oh myy!!!

So sorry we haven't been on the ball with the blog. Things have been sooo busy starting Friday, March 11th. It started off as a normal friday at the salon until Casey answered the phone and it was 'The Nate Show' calling. Not expecting it at all I grabbed the phone in a big grin and started answering the 100 questions I was being asked. Someone, a close family friend had wrote the show letting them know that we needed major help with the 4 babies that are on the way. The largest question they asked..."Could you and your husband fly to New York on Tuesday to be on the show?". I was in such shock all I could say was let me contact my doctor and if you could call me in about 45 mins I can talk to you a little more. I handed the phone back to Casey and had her start to do some of the calling for me because I was still busy with clients in my chair. I called Justin as soon as I heard back from The Nate Show, I wanted to make sure this was for real and no one was playing a large joke on us. Justin got really excited but was worried all the hard work he had done was going to be redone and he would have nothing to show for it. That wasn't what happened though. Casey was doing the emailing back and forth for me while I was still busy at work. I even had to get her to run to our house and measure all the rooms height, length and width and then take pictures to send to the show because they needed them asap. After hearing back from the doctor they told me I would be perfectly fine for me to travel so the planning started immediately. After work Justin and I head off to dinner with his family. The whole dinner was all talk of 'The Nate Show' and how excited we all were that this was happening to us!

Work was crazy on Saturday, it felt like time flew by with everything that was going on. I was getting emails all day about our information of flights, what we needed, our agenda, etc. I had to stay after work late to get all my appointments fixed and moved around. I now had to work on Monday because we were flying out on Tuesday, spending the day on the show Weds. then traveling back that night. The producer sent me a email about a at home video we had to do. So of course I have no idea what I am supposed to do or how I am supposed to do it. After work I just relaxed as much as possible because I knew this week was going to be a roller coster. Sunday after church Justins dad, mom and sister came over as well as my cousin Reece, my sister and my friend Brandi to help with the video. It was quite funny because in the at home video we had a script and everything. All the takes that Reece recorded all had something funny in each one of them but they turned out to be a lot better than we thought! After the excitement of being recorded for a couple of hours Casey and I started on sending the video and photos of us to the show through email so they could have them before we got there. I made sure with my "stylist" Casey that the outfits I had picked out were going to be perfect for the show. Then we continued on with your Sunday relaxing and doing some things around the house.

Monday, I worked all day, ran some errands then headed to a friends restaurant for a re-grand opening with free food! I had 4 plates for my 4 baby boys and it sure was good! haha.

After dinner I headed home to rest because I knew I was going to be overwhelmed traveling the next two days. At about 12:30 the next day, our friend Brandi took Justin and I to the airport. The flight was about an hour and 45 minutes and wasn't as bad as we thought, Justin hates to fly. Everything was going so smooth and when we got to the baggage claim there was a man holding a sign with our names waiting with a car outside. We checked into our hotel, then decided we wanted to walk around a little and then grab some dinner. It was soooo yummy and it was nice to have a peaceful dinner with my husband, plus we were in NYC! The next day the chaos started. We had a car waiting for us the next morning to take us to the studio. They took us straight into our own private room where we hung out until they took us into hair and make-up. Yes, Justin and I both had to do hair and make-up, it was quite funny but Justin was a very good sport about it. After that we headed on set to start filming the show. The BET studio was actually under us and the music was totally thumping the whole place. Justin defiantly made the comment that he wanted to go be on 106 and Park. haha. During the recording we got to meet with Nate and then meet a couple who had quintuplets (thats 5 for those who may not be familiar). That was pretty awesome and after the show we really got to sit down and really talk to them about everything and even play and hold the babies. They were a amazing couple and so trustworthy with the babies by just handing them over to Justin and I. It was nice to meet people in person who knew exactly what Justin and I are going through. As the show went on we got some pretty amazing gifts. The Nate Show isn't redoing the whole nursery they are just sending us some things to get us started and to help with what Justin and I already have. They are providing us with the bedding that is absolutely amazing and we also get some amazing furniture from Pottery Barn. To get us started on clothes they are giving us some gift cards to Carter's and Oshgosh! Nate is also making a layout that will help us know exactly how to set up our room for our 4 baby boys. We now know first hand how much hard work it takes to make these shows run like they do! We are soo thankful to have been on the show and it was a truly amazing experience. We aren't sure when the show will air but we promise to let everyone know as soon as we find out!

Being blessed with 4 BOYSSSSSSSS!!!!

Sorry for the delay but we wanted to wait until we got an update from the doctor yesterday! :) We went to see a specialist, just to make sure everything was going good and to see if we could maybe find out what we were having. We did find out we are having ALL 4 BOYS! They are all measuring right on time and the doctor said things are going good. They want to continue to keep a good watch on them and me so we have to go every 2 weeks. The space is getting smaller as they get larger so i'm happy I get to go more often to see how they are growing inside there! Justin and I are so excited because now we get to really get the nursery finished before I go on bed-rest, now that we know the sex. Here are some of the wonderful photos of our baby BOYS!

Here is Baby A--Proof of a boy!!!

Over the past week Justin has made quite a few trips to Lowe's to get the rooms ready to set up the cribs. Lights are in all the closets, even in mine (which I have been waiting on forever (: haha ) and the closet organizers are all finished. Thank you Justin and Steve! Thanks to Justin's uncle John we also have new doors on the closets in the babies rooms. There were problems with the other doors where they weren't opening as well. We also finally got a electric garage door opener thanks to Salem Garage Door Service. That is one thing I have been waiting for since we have been married and I am soooo happy we finally have the opener!
Over the whole weekend our church had a awesome group come to visit, where we had lots of different events, it was called Lay Renewal Weekend. So anytime that Justin had a break from working we made time to go to church to experience this. We both feel as if the whole weekend brought us closer to each other, as well as our church family and we are happy to say we were brought closer to God who is a very important part of our lives. The Lay Renewal weekend is just what we needed to renew us in the Faith we have in God. We are so happy and blessed and we thank God everyday for everything he has done for us.

Now time for the belly photos! BUMB WATCH!

"Do you want my autograph now..or later??"

After a very long work week it was great to get some much needed things done. Friday night after work Mom, Casey and I went to the mall to get me some more maternity clothes and dresses for my upcoming showers. As I was in the dressing room I looked down and noticed I had no ankles. I said to mom "I have kankles and i'm only at 12 weeks!!!" After working all day it wasn't very smart to make a late night trip to the mall. After the mall we headed to Olive Garden and boyyy was it good! I started to pass out the appetizer to mom and casey, just trying to be polite. Not realizing I kept loading up the bread chips with artichoke dip and giving them about 5 a piece, Casey said "Dude, I'm not pregnant too..you are trying to feed me wayyy to much". All I could do was laugh at her because I was thinking that they were just as hungry as I was. hahaha. When I got home later that night it was wonderful to put my feet up and not move the rest of the night. During work on saturday I tired my best to use the cutting stool as much as possible and having the other girls shampoo for me. Thank God I have some good girls working at the salon that are very helpful. Saturday night I did absolutely nothing but eat, relax and watched a movie with Justin which was exactly what I needed!

Our 13 week doctors appointment was yesterday, and we were so excited to go see the babies. Those 4 weeks felt like a yearrr. Justin's mother, Karen got to go with us and she was so excited to see her little grand babies all moving around in there. The heartbeats of all 4 were very strong and in the range they need to be in. The doctor said I was doing great too but I need to defiantly take it easy on the weekends and take as many breaks as I can during the day at work. They are measuring right on time and were moving soo much while they were trying to take their photos. We are starting to think that baby A and B are boys because they are moving around like crazy in there, so wild that it took like 5 minutes a piece to even hear the heartbeats. I am going to add some photos of the size and what they look like in there.

Isn't this soo cool! Can't believe theres 4 of them inside my belly! I can not wait until I get to feel them kicking and moving in there! Here are the US photos.

12 weeks and counting...

We have finally hit the 12 week mark! This is normally the week where people just start telling other's about their pregnancy. Not in my case! I am so blessed that the babies and I have made it to 12 weeks with no problems! We have just 28 weeks to go (if I was to make it to 40 weeks, haha)! Cant believe this, time is flying by so fast! Next week we go to the doctor for our 13 week check up. We will finally get to see how much they have grown and possibly get to see what they are. I think I started to feel a little movement from them last night, but then again I am not sure if it was the babies or something else, seeing that this is my first pregnancy! The nursery is finally coming together, we got all the painting done, besides just touching up a little. Justin got the closets fixed up nice so we have plenty of racks and shelves for all the babies clothes (Im sure it's going to be overloaded)! Over the weekend Justin and I went to Lowe's and picked out some light fixtures to put in the closets as well as the overhead lighting. We had none in the closets and the other light fixtures were a little dated. I finally got to pick out what cribs I want and now I am trying to work on picking out what I want for the bedding. It's a really hard decision only because I have no idea what they babies are yet and I want to make sure the bedding will work for both genders! Not much to add this week but hopefully next week we will have a lot more to add after we go visit the doctor! Thanks everyone so much for your prayers and support so far! It means so much to us and our families! Now time for the 12 week photos!

The ticker keeps ticking!

Well here I am now into my 11th week! The pregnancy is going so great. I love to get online everyday and look at my ticker to see exactly how my babies are growing. I can honestly say I can tell I am growing week by week. Over the weekend Justin and I went with a group of amazing friends and family to the mountains. We were scared to go because we know we need to save money but we thought, "Hey, this might be our last trip before the babies so we better go and enjoy it". That is exactly what we did. We had an amazing time and it was so nice to relax and get away. While some others went to the slopes a couple of us went shopping around to the outlets and to other little local shops. It is so fun to see the expression on peoples faces whenever they hear i'm having quads. A woman that owned a little antique shop we went into (where we spent about an hour because of the amazing jewelry) had never heard of anyone having quads so of course we was so amazed and even wanted me to call her whenever the babies came, haha. I ended up just giving her the website to this blog so she could follow us! Its pretty amazing that people everywhere are so interested in this experience me and Justin are going through.

There was a large amount of board games and other fun things at the cabin to keep us entertained. While the boys were occupied watching the race I pulled out a 750 piece puzzle. My grandpa used to always love doing puzzle so I thought hey, why not, this could be pretty fun! We started it about 8:30 before dinner and everyone joined in to help make it come together and the whole puzzle was done by around 11:00!! Come to find out when it was completed there was quite a few pieces missing, but at least you could tell what it was!! Guess I need to go buy me some puzzle's because thats something that will keep me occupied while on bed rest! Here is a photo after it was all finished!

On Monday, wonderful Valentine's Day, Casey and I went to visit Cassie and her baby boys! They are such good babies! Cassie is such a trusting mother, she left me and Casey who have hardly any experience with newborn babies with the boys while she went to pick up her son, Dylan from school. While she was gone they were soooo sweet! They just let us hold and cuddle on them while sleeping away. It was so precious to watch their little faces while they were dreaming. When Cassie got back, I got to change my first (bitsy baby) diaper. It actually went really well and I was very proud of myself! Cassie and Jared truly have been blessed with two beautiful, precious baby boys and being with them just made me so much more excited for the 4 I am going to have. I hope I will be a trusting and wonderful mother like Cassie. Here's some photos of the boys and of me getting some practice!
Meet Bentley and Brody!--This is me getting some much needed practice with 1 in each arm!

This is Bentley..check him out sucking his thumb through his pacie!

4 Peas in a pod!

We have made it to 10 weeks! Soooo things are still moving along wonderfully! I am still feeling good with no sickness...thank God! We have finally got the nursery all cleaned out with loads of things to send to Goodwill. Now we can finally start buying things and organizing, which I am very excited about! I think Justin is going to start painting sometime this week! We will not know what the sex of the babies are for another 7 weeks so we are going to go ahead and start painting a neutral colors, just in case. I just wanted to be able to help with the nursery a little before I go on bed rest because I know I wont be able to :(.  We are already so anxious for the next doctors visit! It just makes me happy to go, it reassures me that everything is ok.

I got the cutest little present today. Mom came to visit me at work and gave me these cute little rubber babies! They even have hair and 2 of them are sucking their thumbs!

Are they not just the cutest!?! This is probably what size they were last time we went to the doctor at 8 weeks!

I put them in two different bubbles because this is pretty much what it looks like in my belly! I'm sure its very tight in there!

I also wanted to share this cute picture my sister-in-law, Casey drew me! For those of you that are wondering how exactly we have 2 sets of twins this is why. There are 2 sacs with 2 babies in each!

Wanted to give everyone a update on the belly as well! It may look like nothing from the front but boyyy when I turn to the side you can tell! haha It sure is growing fast, sometimes when I wake up in the mornings I can tell I grew bigger overnight!!!

9 weeks and healthy!

We had our 2nd doctors appointment yesterday, January 31st. It went very very well. They found all 4 babies on the US and they all looked so healthy with very strong heartbeats! Baby B was moving around like crazy and it was a little hard for the doctors to get a good picture of him/her. Justin has started to call it baby bad, haha. It was so amazing to see that everything is going good and they are all growing. We couldn't believe that already at 9 weeks we could see them moving around in my tummy. We got to ask the doctor more questions this time, since our last appointment we were in such shock! He told me I would have to go on bed rest, no exceptions, April 18th (20 weeks)! That is going to come sooo soon and we are going to have to get a move on the baby rooms, ASAP!! Good news is the doctor said I probably wouldn't get sick since I haven't been sick so far! That is truly a blessing considering I have to work as much as I can (with breaks, thank God), while I can. The doctor was so excited to see all 4 babies were doing well, he even fist pumped, it was pretty funny! He set us a goal where he wants me to make it to at least 34 weeks! Which will make it right around July 25th. We go back in 4 weeks and i'm sure the babies are going to grow so much between now and then! Thanks so much for all the blessings, and prayers!

Here are the 1st ultra sound pictures! Pay attention to where it says "Baby A, Baby B, Baby C, and Baby D". In these they look like little dots and are a little harder to see. These were taken at 7 weeks at our January 17th appointment.

Here is Baby A and Baby B.

Here is Baby C and Baby D.

Here are the new ones, taken at 9 weeks! You can really tell the shape of the little babies and you can see the full size of them! :)
